Lighten Our darkness, we beseech Thee, O Lord, and by Thy great goodness deliver us from all the perils and dangers of this life

So My Church prays and My children pray . Yet they so often fail to embrace the conditions which would provide light in the darkness and deliverance from the dangers of this life.

There is no darkness for the faithfully committed soul, only a walking with Me in the dark places for the salvation and enlightenment of others and sometimes for his own growth and maturity.

I am the Light of the world, and whoever walks with Me walks in light. The life of the Eternal is his portion and already he experiences the joy of the blessed though through a glass darkly.

So the lightening of the darkness of a soul's existence or of the world's experience must be sought not supinely but worked out persistently and patiently. So will the deliverance from the perils and dangers follow in the course of events. Where a child of the Father , illumined by Our light sees danger, he will carefully avoid it. Yet he will not totally avoid the challenging of shades if he is guided by Our Holy Spirit. In that circumstance he will seek Our protection and commit himself and his commission to our loving purpose, and all will be well whatever the earthly appearance.

I am the Light of the world. He who walks with Me shall not walk in darkness but in the light of life eternal.
