Elijah said, "How long halt ye between two opinions?"
1 Kings 18:21

Many of the Father's children - most of them at some time - dally and flirt with a way of life that they have graduated from. They see the unproductive quality of a habit or way of living which they decide unprofitable yet do not put it firmly behind them. Such live under a handicap : they are not totally committed and consequently find that they are unfulfilled both in personality and achievement, and their way is joyless.

There must be utter, complete commitment to progress along the way for those who are true of heart and who seek to serve their Heavenly Father with singleness of heart and mind. All must be offered to this end : even so can I enter and fill and guide and pilot towards the joyful destination.

And joy is to be found along the way, for I am joy as well as peace and love, life, light and fulfilment in all things.

But singleness of heart and mind are essential for progress where there is a temporary falling away; this can be remedied by a return through My saving love. And Our Holy Spirit continually ministers to the near and distant ones, guiding from perilous ways those who will be shepherded. The only danger is in lack of response.

Blest are the pure in heart for they shall see the Father and dwell in His courts or evermore.
