Jesus said, "If I wash thee not thou hast no part in Me."
John 13:8

Consider the preparation needed before I was ready and prepared to wash the feet of my disciples; the decision was made to perform the act ; Myself I prepared for work and service, the materials I sought and brought together, and I knelt to perform the necessary service to my disciples. So the act was performed, the necessary service done, and - of overriding significance - the relationship between the Father's loving committed children established for all times. Happy are those who live in the light of this knowledge and regard the service of their fellow men as a joyful and fulfilling duty, following in the steps which I have trodden during my incarnate life.

There is another lesson which those with eyes to see and ears to hear what The Spirit is saying to those who seek to progress along the way and become the children of the Father such as He longs to see and know. There is a washing of the innermost parts of the being, which is vital and necessary for sight for the way forward and for progressing towards the perfection that the Father wills and purposes for each and every one of His beloved children.

Our Holy Spirit enlightens, and where He enlightens and reveals darkness, weakness, and such rebellion against the name of love which often parades in other guises, the true loving disciple commits all in confession to my saving forgiving love. Thus cleansed and reset on the path of faithfulness, the disciple progresses in growth and in loving service of his Heavenly Father and his fellow men. And I live and love and serve the Father and his beloved children from the heart of the heart, as I am given leave.
