Jesus said, "I am come into the world in light so that no-one who believes in Me should stay in darkness "
John 12:46

Light penetrates the deepest recesses of dark places when that which covers the dark places is removed. The prudent person who gives attention to what he sees, removes all that requires removal and cries out for dispersal. So fragrance and beauty is revealed by the searching light which is subsequently applied. There will always be the need to inspect and sweep clean; does not the conscientious housewife daily sweep and clean her house, and is there not a need for daily washing amongst all human beings? The house which is regularly attended to is clean, the human being who tends to his daily ablutions is clean, and the child of the Father who invites the continual light of our Holy Spirit to shine in all parts and places of his heart and mind is prepared for the light of My Presence.

And the light of My Presence brings understanding to the mind and strength to the will. The loving purpose of the Heavenly Father is gradually and increasingly revealed to the whole being, with an earnest desire for commitment to it.

The nuance of My light is many faceted, falling on countless thousands of the Father's children in myriads of ways. Each and every one of the Father's children should look for it in their fellowmen with width and depth of vision; narrowness of mind and outlook is no mark of the committed child of the Heavenly Father.

The darkness which some few may encounter in their path of faithfulness is lovingly bestowed to strengthen in love and to call to vicarious activity in the great work of salvation. I am the light of the world, and where I enlighten I lead to eternal life.
