"How blest are you when you suffer insults and persecution and every kind of persecution and every kind of calumny for ( My sake) the cause of right."

Suffering in itself is neither good nor bad, but it can lead to great good or self-delusion and bitterness.

Those who hold on to that which they know to be right, despite all difficulties put in their way, will know the peace and security of the Father's -Kingdom even in the midst of their suffering. The rightness of their cause is their rock of safety, and the waters that wash round them will be for their safety, not for their destruction. And Our Holy Spirit is their light and their strength, Our love their reward.
