As the life of a plant courses through the roots and up the stem to each reception of new life , issuing in leaf and flower, so does the life of the spirit penetrate to every part of the living soul. Without this life the soul could not have come into existence, and when it is refused entry the soul withers and dies. So each child of the Father has the challenge of reacting constructively and purposefully to the word which is spoken within him. And to do this he must hear, and to hear he must listen constantly and sensitively, setting aside times and appointing places for this vital aspect of his life and living. As he listens in depth and relates to My vibrant life within him so will he receive that life which will perfect and complete his very being. All will proceed within the ambience of the Father's love in the light and by the power of Our Holy Spirit. And all is made possible through My saving act and risen life which I bestow on all who hear My word and react faithfully to it.And faithfulness to My word will not save the faithful soul from the suffering and sadnesses of life ; but it will ensure My consoling and strengthening Presence in the way. As I was so shall My servant be . He who is constant in love and service accompanies Me in My redemptive work for the children of the Father and will rejoice with Me in the Father's Presence at the end of time.
