Jesus
said, "He who believes
in me shall not perish but
have eternal life."
John 3:15
To believe is to commit
your whole mind and spirit
to that which invites belief.
And in this context I enter
into the very centre of
the soul of the committed.
It is rare that a child
of the Father is committed
so totally in every aspect
of his person and living
that I am given absolute
freedom to work and rest,
live and work without let
or hindrance. But there
have been and there are
today those truly and totally
committed who have witnessed,
and who witness now, to
the translucent beauty and
dynamic power of eternal
life. In the centre of these
children of the Father the
Kingdom is established.
From that centre which has
been transformed from the
natural to the supranatural
and which is swept and cleaned
as the light of Our Holy
Spirit reveals the need,
I prepare the throne for
the Father's presence. And
from that throne He reigns
in His kingdom, and I, rejoicing
in His presence in the Kingdom
of Heaven established in
that child of the Father,
minister within, around
and beyond its environment.
And where I minister Our
Holy Spirit enlightens,
instructs and empowers so
that imperceptibly as dewfall,
Our Kingdom is extended
and eternal life is bestowed.
So what is death but the
taking hold and the embracing
in totality that quality
of life of living and loving
which has been woven during
the days on earth? The death
of the loving committed
soul, then, is the taking
to himself of that which
he has become, and the enjoyment
of that which he has dimly
perceived in the glory of
the eternal life of the
Father's presence.
