Wednesday, December 14th
Jesus
said, "Whosoever drinketh
of the water that I shall
give him shall never thirst
; but the water that I shall
give him shall be in him a
well shall be in him a well
of water springing up into
everlasting life."
John 13-13
The natural life, bestowed
on every child of The Father
at birth is ongoing and
progressive, developing
by the natural order of
things as time progresses;
where that child is given
food and clothing and loving
care he grows into adulthood
without profound choices
on his part regarding his
further development. But
there is a choice which
is made by each and every
one as childhood gives way
to adulthood. The babes
and young children I bear
in my arms ;; they relate
to me in innocence and uninformed
faith and in a joy of the
aura of the Father's Kingdom.
The brief stage gives way
all too soon to the consciousness
of the world, which many
name the "real"
world, and my face becomes
to most as a waking dream
of childhood past. Yet I
am there at every stage
and in every experience,
seeking to mould each part
into that which The Father
seeks each child of His
to be come, and to prepare
and train him in that which
he is to do in the service
of the Kingdom. And in all
I offer the waters of salvation
; when once the first drink
is taken from my chalice
when the natural selfhood
has been offered to the
Father, that child of the
Father may drink without
limit ; indeed the more
he takes the more he desires,
and by that measure is he
fulfilled and enabled to
realise and further The
Father's purpose for him.
In this context I am ceaselessly
present, indwelling and
ministering - as I am given
leave. And Our Blessed Spirit
gives light and power along
the way.
