Friday December 2nd
Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life"
John chapter 14:6

"Sorrow abides for a season but joy cometh in the morning". Let none of these who call me Lord and Master discount the cost of salvation, or the pain of the fulfilled life. No growth in the natural or supernatural life was ever achieved with out discomfort and sadness that leaving the old and embracing the new which lively growth entails. But it is an unease of challenge and development, essential for the maturity of the whole person. But apart from this natural growth and beyond it is the pain and cost of redemption, conceived by our love before the beginning of the time, suffered in us by the experience of the children of the Father in all times and races and situations, lived out in the brief life span of my incarnate humanity, and suffered on the cross of pain and calumny. Only those of the Father's children who muse and meditate on the truth revealed in this manifestation, the way offered in its revelation, can take hold of the life which is the reward as well and the means to eternal life for themselves and for those whom they are given to serve. Many dimly perceive the way amongst the peoples who have not received the fullness of this revelation, and their faithfulness to that which they dimly perceive is their salvation in and through my saving love. As the Father rejoices in and through them. I look in sadness at the children of the Father who call me Lord and Master yet do not show faithfulness in pursuing the truth set for them in depth. Commit yourself to it.
