Peter went up to Jesus and said, "Lord, how often must I forgive My brother if he wrongs me ? As many as seven times ?" Jesus answered "Not seven, I tell you, but seventy times seven."
Matt. 18:21

Forgiveness, like grace, is love in action. The Heavenly Father forgives each child of his who repents his sin and failure and seeks forgiveness, committing himself to perfection in faith and trust. And to that child of the Father who perseveres throughout life in this way shall, in the end, be given that perfection he seeks through My saving, risen life. And it is of imperative importance to exercise that same pattern towards your fellowmen. Pray that you may receive love increasingly for all with whom you have to do. And generously employ that love to forgive all who may have offended hurt you, praying for the wellbeing and happiness, and for the forgiving spirit in any you may have hurt or harmed. Each loving act of forgiveness is a cornerstone in the Kingdom of the Father and brings forward the fulfilment of the Father's loving purpose. Any and every act lovelessness or unwillingness to forgive displaces the Father's loving reign on earth by the measure of that loveless disposition.

Exercise your heart and mind and will in these matters , remembering to forgive yourself as forgiveness is bestowed on you by others and by your Heavenly Father.
