Jesus said to His Disciples, " In your prayers do not babble as the pagans do , for they think that by using many words they will make themselves heard."
Matthew 6:9

Words are not necessary in your approach to Me or to your Heavenly Father except as a director of the mind. Our mind penetrates the fastnesses of every human mind and knows the thought process of each and every one, drawing each one towards loving response to Our love and leading. The words I gave My beloved Disciples were as a guide and pattern for their individual approach to the Father and as a given prayer for them to share. But it is not in the mere saying of the prayer that the Father's children are joined with Him in love and in commitment. The mind must give alert and responsive attention to what the words are saying , giving time and consideration to their import. And the heart and mind must follow , loving and willing that which the words convey. Then the heart and mind must hold and earth the concepts prayed so that all is taken into the system . As it is with the individual so it is with the group. Let individual and group be led by Our loving Holy Spirit to new paths and places in the Kingdom of the Father both for their own soul-growth and for the extension of His Kingdom. But let the amelioration of My sick and hungry and anguished ones be a priority in individual and corporate prayer. And let the joy of Our Presence, with thanksgiving, break through in all your approaches in the glorious knowledge that you are in love and love in you.
