Jesus said, "……If they will not listen either to Moses or to the prophets they will not be convinced even if someone should rise from the dead."
Matthew 16:31

There are three attitudes of mind among those of the Heavenly Father's children who resist conviction . There are the apathetic who will do anything but bestir themselves to action, except what is basically necessary, involving themselves in purposeless activity to disguise their inertia. When such are met along the way be aware of love as it will be given to those who encounter them and let all reactions towards them be for their wellbeing . Offer them to the Father in love. There are those whose mind and heart are addressed by Our Holy Spirit and who at some time point along the way assent to the truths put before them but reject them before they become a part of conscious thought because of the demands in self-giving which they dimly perceive. They identify with alternative thought forms which are not difficult to find in Western culture : indeed, such forms are rather the norm than the exception. These become the basis of thought and activity , and earlier perceptions are buried deep in the unconscious. As such are met and recognised along the way, offer them to the Father in love. There are the perverse who seek their physical and spiritual gratification regardless of Our approaches or the claims of humanity. Let Us pray for them in you : earnestly desire their redemption. Let My Resurrection be the point and dynamic for all those of the Father's beloved children who resist conviction, as they are encountered, rather than a matter of controversy.
