Jesus said, "…Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled , but the man who humbles himself will be exalted."
Luke 18:14

"Dust thou art and to dust shalt thou return". Recall these words and consider them. Your Heavenly Father has created man from the atoms of the Universe, to join with his fellowmen and share in the enjoyment of its joys and the challenges of its purpose. Only by identifying in this great cosmic purpose in action can humankind find satisfaction and fulfilment. Activity and relationships apart from it are valueless, Unrewarding and, if pursued in, counterproductive is that orientation to life which exalts the self in the work and activities which daily confront every child of the Father.

All that a man possesses is given him by the Father , and the gifts of mind and spirit to fulfil those things the Father would have accomplished. Continually Our Holy Spirit enlightens and leads, and I am present to encourage and to become a very part of each child of the Father , as I am given leave. How alien to the cause of the Kingdom , then, is the spirit of self-exaltation! Though that which is achieved by those who promote their (own) importance and success may be for the good of others , those who so exalt themselves are unfulfilled in joy and fall short of their Heavenly Father's loving purpose for them. " Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven."
