When I awake in Thy likeness, O Lord, shall be satisfied with it
Psalm 17:15

So wrote My psalmist, expressing the greatest understatement of all times.

To attain to likeness with the Source of all that is to attain perfection. Yet such likeness is not identical: how could it ever be ? The perfection of the Absolute is….absolute. The joy of fulfilment and achievement for the Heavenly Father's committed children is beyond description or knowledge in this present world, for all is in process of becoming. And the faculty of experiencing joy has to be learned and practised.

Yet there is a joy available even now for those who are seriously committed in the way. Each and every child of the Father is as a pearl in the hollow of His hand, each with its intrinsic beauty and worth. For each I died, for each I rose again, and the beauty and worth of each is enhanced and , in the fullness of time, perfected, by the identification of that pearl of great price with the polished, perfected gem which, by My saving grace, is presented to the Heavenly Father.

What circumstance of satisfaction, then, what occasion for rejoicing! So become what you are designed to become, then, in the light and power of My risen life.

I am the Light of the world. He who walks with Me shall not walk in darkness but in the light of life eternal.
