Sunday, September 3rd
Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 6-8. James 1:17-18, 21-23, 27.
Mark 7:1-8, 14, 21-23

The given law is for right ordering of both individual and community in life and living and it is necessary for both. It must be learnt and practised that righteousness, peace and justice may be established for the one and many, rich and poor.

But obedience to given law is only a beginning to the full and perfect life which is given to all who seek it in faith and trust and love and in self-giving. I, the Father's Word Incarnate and Incarnate Love, enter the humble, suppliant heart and mind and fill them with My Presence. Through My indwelling and the light and guiding of our Holy Spirit they are brought to life eternal in the fulness of eternity and to service of the Father and their fellowmen in time.

Set time aside each day to respond to Love's indwelling.
