St. John Bosco
Philippians 4:4-9. Matthew 18:1-5

The happy child gladly accepts the authority of the good parent and realises that his joy and well-being lies in obedience. And so he trusts and seeks to please and to know what is required of him. And he knows that everything comes from his loving parent.

And so it is in life for all who live according to the Father's will and loving purpose - in love and peace and joy whate'er the outward circumstance. All who travel thus along life's way are brought to know and do the Father's will as they desire and seek it and through their faithfulness and our saving, sanctifying love, their offering is accepted and perfected.
