St. Justin, martyr
1 Cor. 1:18-25. Matthew 5:13-19

The truth is there to be found. The life is there to be lived. I, the Truth and Life, continually open up the way and reveal the truth, for I am the way to life eternal and the means of finding it and walking in it.

All committed to the truth in love and in self-giving are brought into the service of the Father and of their fellowmen as they continue faithful. The Father's will and loving purpose is gradually revealed to them as they abide in Me and I in them, the pattern of My life increasingly seen in them. And some are faithful even unto death.

All, all are called to die to self that they may glorify the Father, honour Me and receive the joy and fullness of the life We offer them. Such is the truth for all times , the wisdom for all peoples.
