St. Stephen
Acts 6:8-10,7:54-57. Matthew10:17-22

Fix your gaze on Him who created you and continually creates you in the power of His love. Desire His will above all things and seek His will and purpose in all things great and small.

So will you be ready - according to the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit - to witness to the glory of the Father at all times and in all circumstances. If you are called to suffering in your witness realise that it has been so for many faithful to truth as they identified it and they were not disappointed in their hope and faith and trust.

Forgive those who vilify and accuse you wrongly and let the words uttered as I was nailed to the Cross at Golgotha unite with those of the first beloved witness to My saving, redeeming love in your heart and mind and in all you say and do.
