Possessions are a stumbling-block in following Me unless they are offered to the Father's loving purpose. And so it is with friendships and relationships. All gifts, human and material, are for the building of each child of man into that wholeness and diversity the Father has designed for him and for the Father's Kingdom. All that is alien to the Father's will and loving purpose in human choice will militate against the blossoming of character and personality and will deprive the Father's Kingdom of that contribution planned for it before time was.

Moreover, every true disciple of the Kingdom needs to develop that resilience to life's sorrows, trials and tribulations which make him sensitive to the suffering of others and help him to begin to understand and share the mystery of suffering. My cross taken into heart and mind of every follower of Mine is his salvation , fellowship and victory through Our saving, sanctifying love.
