Jesus said to His Disciples,
"So stay awake, because you do not know either the day or the hour"
Matthew 25:13

Let each and every day be offered to the Father, each hour regarded as His gift to each for each to realise within his person and community His loving purpose. As each receives his charge and challenge to accomplish that which he is given, so is he given time and power and opportunity. And I am at his side, waiting to fill his heart and mind with love, Our Holy Spirit his illumination and direction.

Readiness Is all: preparedness for action and willingness to receive whatever action brings as a result. The faithful servant receives the outcome of his actions made in faith and trust with equanimity, and this in time brings confidence in all things.

Happy is that child of God who seeks the Father's will in everything he does and glorifies the Father as he discovers it. The joy of those who at life's end are ready when the Father calls them to His Presence none can imagine.
