Pain is a necessary contingency in a world of growth and choice, and it is inextricably woven into the Father's loving purpose for each child and for all mankind. But through My Incarnate life, My suffering, death and resurrection, the Godhead is identified with pain and suffering: and each pain and sadness suffered by each child of man and all suffering in creation is known and suffered in Our Very Self and Being.

Let the knowledge of this fact of life in the Father's world of light and life and love be a means of strength and power for growth in Us and for an increase in the understanding of the Father's loving purpose for His world. And let each child of man who seeks for point and purpose in his life offer himself and all his sadnesses and sufferings to the loving Heavenly Father as he encounters them. He will not suffer less but he will grow in depth and sensitivity: and with that growth will come that peace which passes knowledge, even as he suffers.

Life is the point and purpose of all living - abundant, joyful life in Me. I am the Resurrection and the Life, and all who pass through sadness, suffering and death with Me shall rise in hope and joy to live for ever in the Father's glorious Presence.
