Jesus said to His Disciples, "If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too: if they kept My word the will keep yours as well."
John 15:20

As a man is in his inmost heart and mind so are his actions and his way of life. When truth confronts the child of man he either responds with joy, accommodating to it, or tries to overcome it, opposing truth and bearer. The evil one seeks every opportunity of enticing every man from his true destiny, and only man himself makes this a possibility through waywardness or conscious evil choice. But I have died and risen from the dead to be man's power against all evil: My suffering, victorious love sustains and fortifies all who call upon My Name.

And all who call upon My Name, receiving My love and power to receive and walk in it are one in Me and I in them. These are My word in action, and as I live in One I live in all. But as I suffer in one of My beloved children so do I suffer in each one too. And I look to each to take this suffering as a sharing in My saving love until the Father brings all things to glorious fulfilment when suffering and sadness shall be done away.

All then are one in Me as each is faithful to My Presence in himself and in community, one suffering, joyful, faithful family. And I am one with the Father and with the Spirit. Rejoice in this eternal fiat.
