St. Francis
of Assisi
Jesus exclaimed,
"I bless you, Father, Lord of
Heaven and earth, for hiding these
things from the learned and the clever
and revealing them to mere children."
Matthew
11:25
The gospel of truth and love is
for all the Father's children. The
Father reveals and gives Himself
to all who turn to Him in faith
and trust and loving commitment.
And even the slightest turning He
uses for the good and the growth
in wholeness and holiness of that
child of His love. For the salvation
and sanctification of each I lived
and died and rose again. In each
I have that place which I am offered
and allowed: from within I cleanse
and build and unite in love with
the Father and with the Father's
creation of men and kind. And all
who accommodate My Presence in their
hearts and minds I lead into knowledge
and understanding of things finite
and infinite in substance and relationship.
And I give peace and joy which weathers
all sadness, failure and loss. So
it is for all the pure in mind and
single of heart. Come to Me you
who labour and are overburdened,
My yoke is easy and My burden light.
