St. Teresa of Avila
Jesus said to His Disciples, "If you remain in Me and My words remain in you , you may ask what you will and you shall get it." It is the glory of My Father that you should bear much fruit, and then you will be My Disciples."
John 15:7-8

If you remain in Me and I in you, you cannot ask anything that is contrary to the will of the Father. For I am the Word of the Father, by My very Presence expressing His love and His loving purpose.

And so My Presence in heart and mind is increasingly welcomed by conscious orientation and committed activity, so is the Father's will and good purpose known and understood in the process of time. And where understanding fails, there is the gift of loving trust.

So as it is increasingly known and understood what things are required to be done and suffered, so is the way shown by little or by much according to need and circumstance. But all that is necessary for progress in the way must be sought continually at the Father's hands: for resources for the way and for required undertakings in the way are not the natural endowment of the Father's beloved children. And I am the Means, the Justifier, and the Reward. I feed and lead and perfect in the way, Our Loving Spirit enlightens and empowers. And the fruit of faithfulness is the perfection of the soul in Me.
