He that dwelleth in the secret places of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
Psalm 91:1

No hurt or harm can ever come to the child of the Father who trusts in the Father's protection, seeks to do his will, and who abides in Me through the power of Our Holy Spirit. Suffering and loss there may be in his journey through life - must be by the very nature of things. But nothing need separate the committed one from the knowledge and the joy of the divine containment.

It is not that there is favouritism towards those who seek to find and follow the Father's will however falteringly. It is partly that those who are so committed fall into the glorious pattern in the life of the Kingdom which the Father has apportioned to them, and so their defence and safety is assured in all things rightful. And those who do not seek truth and goodness and service put themselves outside the bounds of this divine protection.

So there should be no anxiety in proceeding and progressing along the path assigned, but confidence in joyful abandonment and participation. The discipline of daily discipleship will advise through that which is conveyed, the necessary awareness of things dangerous and deadly will be imparted, and faithfulness and obedience will be the pathway to health and safety.

And the comfort and joy of these who abide in the shadow of The Almighty cannot be conveyed or described in human terms. Only those who attain can know and share in joyful knowledge with those who also abide. The way is faithfulness in love and obedience in service, the means are light and Our indwelling.
