Sunday, February 14th
First Sunday in Lent
Deuteronomy 26:4-10. Romans 10:8-13. Luke 4:1-13

All you possess and all you are is given you by the Father, Lord Most High. ‘You must, then, lay all before your God and bow down in the sight of the Lord your God’. (Deut. 6:10.) Such is the Father’s will and loving purpose for all the faithful and the true of heart: His will is for your perfection and fulfilment in the fulness of His Presence in eternity, in time to receive the grace and power of His love to follow the Way, led and guided by Our Holy Spirit.

The Word of the Father is life and light and love; listen, respond, and offer all you have and all you are in faith and trust and self-giving to Him who loved you into being. ‘One believes with the heart and so is justified……………everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved’. (Romans 10:10 and 13.)
