Genesis 11:1-9. Mark 8:34-9:1

The language of the young in mind and heart is simple, self-determining, thrusting, progressive in the establishing of the self in the world, often divisive and self-destructive.

The Father, creator of all that is or was or ever shall be, has conceived a Word from His very Being, endowed Him with the power and the glory of His Presence, and offers Him unceasingly and constructively to the world of His creation. That Word is Love, beloved and loving Son of the loving heavenly Father who brings all who are in Him and He in them to the Father and unites one with another in time and through eternity.

Let the self be renounced – left behind in the faithful and the true of heart. Love calls for sacrifice of self and following in My steps, identifying with the loving purpose of the Son of Man.
