St. John of the Cross
1 Corinthians 2:1-10. Luke 14:25-33

Before time was the Creator of all things in Heaven and earth and of all that is becoming spoke the Word of truth, of wisdom and of love. Remaining with and in the Lord Creator the Word became His creative and re-creative power in all creation.

Entering in the created world according to the Lord Creator’s will and loving purpose, the Word became flesh and, through his life and death and risen life, makes possible – in the fulness of eternity - the re-creation of all things created.

Such is a life-time’s world-enduring process: all responding to the Lord Creator’s word of truth and wisdom and of love are called to identify with the creative call and of the re-creative process and experience. The way is challenging and demanding: I, the Creator’s Word Incarnate and Incarnate Love have trodden it and am with each and every one who treads it now.
