Maccabees 6:1-13. Luke 20:27-40

Each child of man born into the Father’s world is confronted by the challenge of Eternal Truth within his heart and mind. As he chooses to accept or to reject, so does he become. And as he becomes so does he act, and all he says and does reflects his orientation and commitment. How will the faithless and those who choose to reject truth offered them along the way respond when challenged by Eternal Truth at the end of time? All fail by little or my much to be faithful to the Father’s will and loving purpose in their life, but all who seek to live in truth in faith and trust and self-giving can be brought to fulfilment and perfection in the end, in the grace and power of Our redeeming, sanctifying love. For this I lived and died. For this I offer My risen life to enlighten, enable and empower. I, the Incarnate Word and Incarnate Love, am the Way, the Truth, the Life.
