Ash Wednesday
Joel 2:12-18. 2 Cor.5:20-6:12. Matthew 6:1-6

“In returning and rest you will receive salvation. In quietness and confidence will be your strength”. Such was the word given by the prophet in times past and so is it given now. Countless generations have responded to it in times past and it is offered now in the urgency of the hour. Time is running out for the one and many in the Father’s world: only Love can save.

Love seeks to enter heart and mind of all who seek salvation for themselves and for their world.. Love saves and sanctifies as it is welcomed in the heart and mind and in community. Become what you are called to be – I speak to one I speak to every one. Through Love’s indwelling and the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit each one of the Father’s beloved sons and daughters is called to be a vibrant member of His Kingdom of eternal life and light and love in partnership with his fellow members of the Kingdom near and far. Turn now from all that separates you from Love and pray for faithfulness in your commitment.
