Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9. Matthew 5:17-19

Needs must that rules are made and laws obeyed by the one and many. Such are vital for the young and for beginners in all life and work. So must they be respected, defined, refined and re-instated in the context of the whole.

One rule only do I give you and command you to obey it: such is the Father's will and loving purpose for all who seek truth and light and to live faithfully in pursuing it. That rule is the law of love; love for the Father who has brought you into being and love for all He has created and sustains. To love is to fulfil all that is required of you: it goes beyond all rules and laws and regulations and calls you to fulfilment and perfection. But it is utterly demanding.

I call you to obedience and faithfulness in absolute self-giving. As I give myself to you in My saving love so do I invite you to respond that I may bring you to the fulness of eternal life in the Presence of the Father and with all whom We have enabled you to love and serve.

Love is the sap within the Vine. I am The Vine.
