St. Cyril of Jerusalem
1 John 5:1-5. John 15:1-8

As you persistently seek the Father's will so will love be your inspiration and your guide and your defence from all that could deflect and hinder you. And as I am one with Father and with Our loving, leading and uniting Holy Spirit so are all in Me united in the bond of joy and peace and power to fulfil the Father's loving purpose in time and through eternity.

Pray that the Father increasingly prunes you for His service and makes you capable and ready to obey His will in all things and at all times : this is a counsel for the one and many, the individual, group community, yes, and the nation too. Invite and welcome and receive Me in your heart and mind and in the centre of your life together.

I am the vine, the lifeblood of your growth and progress in eternal life, and with Our loving Holy Spirit I bring you to the Father as you continue faithful.
