St. Stephen
Acts 5:8-10,7:54-59. Matt. 10:17-27

The world created by the Father glorifies Him in its beauty, grandeur and perfection. The sons of men, created by His love, to come to their perfection through his grace and power, have fallen short of this potential. So I, His Son. beloved and loving, took on human flesh, offered the pattern of the perfect life and through My death the means of fulfilling all the Father purposed for them.

But this dynamic, glorious truth and fact for all peoples in all times and places is a stumbling block to many who close their minds and hearts to the Lord who loved them into being. And where The Word speaks most clearly to them, seeking to reveal truth and offer life and light and love, there He is persecuted and His destruction sought. All faithful to the end will share My victory over sin and death and come to the fulness of the Father's glory.
