St. Elizabeth of Portugal. Amos 8:4-6, 9-12 Matt. 9:9-13
1 John 3:14-18. Matt. 25:31-46

You must always do what is in your power to do for others, led and guided by Our Holy Spirit. Compassion is a costly and demanding virtue but it is required of you as a follower of Mine. True compassion issues in desire to alleviate the poverty and pain along your path - both near and far. Pray for wisdom and for generosity in dispersing the resources - both personal and material - which the Father gives you. All you can do is but a drop within the ocean of the needs and suffering in the world. But you are graciously called and enabled to make that contribution constantly and faithfully as your heart and mind direct and as Our loving Holy Spirit leads and guides.

And remember: "I am with you always even to the end of time."
