St. Hilary
1 John 2:18-25. Matt. 5:13-19

Truth is unchanging, self-fulfilling, and challenges the faithful and the true of heart in all things. Our Holy Spirit leads the soul in truth, and Love's Indwelling brings the faithfully committed to their eternal destiny as they continue faithful.

Be ready at all times to respond to the word the Father speaks to all who seek truth and power to walk in it. His loving purpose has surrounded all that is from the beginning. His word, imparted to all able to receive it, reveals the part each individual and community is invited to take in love and in self-giving. Such is the truth in all times and places: many have perceived the challenge for themselves and for their world as they paced out their years in life and living. Some tentatively walk the path of service and self-giving perceiving dimly, failing often. To all is offered the insight and the power of Our saving, sanctifying love to lead, retrieve and reinstate through grace as sin and failure meets each some time in the way.

All obedient to that which dimly they perceive within their hearts and minds are salt and light in every generation, witnesses and signposts to the love which has no ending and the peace which passes knowledge.
