Tobit 3:1-11,16-17. Mark 12:18-27

The upright heart and steadfast mind are gifts from the loving Heavenly Father, and they are given to all who seek the truth and power increasingly to understand and walk in it . Sometimes faithfulness in truth and self-giving to the Father and His world bring suffering . But He is with them in their steadfastness and obedience to His loving purpose , His word unfolding His most glorious Being as they are faithful to it .

Be resolute in self-giving and continually open to receive all the Father offers in the way. All are free to choose or to refuse the gifts of life and light and love which He has promised to the faithful and the true of heart. But those receiving them increasingly know the freedom of obedience and the fullness of the dedicated life.

Pray ceaselessly for constancy and faithfulness in your life in Us. I, the Father's Word and Love Incarnate grow daily in the heart and mind of the faithfully committed in love and self-giving to the Father and to His glorious world, Our loving Holy Spirit guides into the fullness of the Eternal Day.
