Saturday, August 15th
A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Jesus, "Happy the womb that bore You and breasts You sucked." But He replied,
"Still happier those who hear the word of God and keep it."
Luke 11:27.28

She who conceived Me in her womb through the power of Our Holy Spirit knew greater joy than any soul whoever lived. For to conceive Love in the heart and mind and to bring It forth in human kind as did Mary, My beloved mother, reveals the perfect union of God with man. Obedience is the condition of such union, and faithfulness in all things. All who would know happiness in life must orientate their search to imitate her obedience and her faithfulness.

But joy is the destiny of the redeemed, and all who seek a measure of that joy I share with all who identify with Me in My redemptive offering. Each one who walks with Me across the Brook of Cedron to Gethsemane and lets Our Holy Spirit reveal to him the Father's will for him in prayer and action begins to know that joy. And all who follow to the hill of Calvary in love and faithfulness progress in knowledge and in that understanding the Father plans for all the faithful and the true of heart. And joy is their reward through all eternity.
