The Pharisees went out and began to plot against Jesus, discussing how to destroy Him . Jesus knew this and withdrew from the district and many followed Him and
He cured them all
Matthew 12:14-16

There comes a time in the affairs of men and women and in the affairs of nations when they are challenged to choose in such a radical way that their future is sealed for good or ill.

The Pharisees who sought to destroy Me in My Incarnate life had extinguished the light in their minds and hearts. So that they were not further challenged by that which they had rejected they sought to obliterate it. But the light of the world cannot be extinguished by the mind and will of man: it can, by choice, be refused by that soul who refuses to accept it.

But those who follow Me are made whole and holy by their commitment to My saving love. And those who lose their way are retrieved if they stop in their tracks and look for guidance and restoration in the way. The Pharisees, with such wealth of knowledge and tradition lost their way and embraced perdition through pride, anger and self-deception. Mary from Magdala embraced the voluptuous life for a season But she turned, looked in the face of Love, was transformed through love and became a harbinger of peace and truth.
