Ezekiel 18:21-28. Matthew 5:20-26

Conscious wrong-doing is hurtful to the soul, deliberate sin destructive if not repented and forgiveness sought from the loving heavenly Father. ‘The Father takes no pleasure in the death of a wicked man – it is the Lord who speaks – ‘and prefers to see him renounce his wickedness and live’. (Ezekiel 18:23)

But it is not enough to reject deliberate wrong-doing. Each and every one of the Father’s beloved sons and daughters is challenged by His love and called to His Presence in time to love and serve Him and their brothers and their sisters near and far according to His will and loving purpose.

All who seek perfection in and through Our redeeming, sanctifying love are given entry into the Father’s Kingdom of Eternal Life and Light and Love and progress in the Way as they continue faithful in and through Love’s indwelling and the light and leading of Our Holy Spirit.
