St. Catherine
of Siena
Acts
12.34-13:5.:13-23. John 12:44-50
I, beloved and loving Son of the
Father, speak the Father’s
word
according to His will and loving
purpose. I am the Father’s
Word,
His Word Incarnate and Incarnate
Love in time and through
eternity. Listen, then, and respond
in faith and trust and absolute
self-giving: I speak to every one
in the Father’s world. All
are
called to receive the Father’s
love, become a reflection of His
love and a highway for His love
to others through My indwelling
and the light and guiding of Our
Holy Spirit.
‘Come to Me; ……take
My yoke upon you and learn from
Me
……..for My yoke is easy
and My burden light’.
Merit consists in the virtue of
love alone flavoured with discretion
without which the soul is worth
nothing.
