St. Bernard of Clairvaux
Ecclesiasticus 15:1-6. John 17:20-26

The Father and I are one: all who are in Me and I in them are one in and through the grace and power of Our Holy Spirit. And We seek to draw into the experience of Our love and loving all who follow in the way as We lead and guide, in faith and trust and absolute self-giving.

Seek and pray for faithfulness in the way and commitment in the truth that you may receive the fulness of the life the Father ceaselessly offers you: I speak to one I speak to every one.

It is the Father’s will and loving purpose to draw into the joy and glory of His Presence in and through My indwelling and the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit all responsive to and in His Word and Love Incarnate. I am the means and fulfilment of the Father’s love in His created world. ‘No-one has ever seen God. It is God he only Son, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made Him known’. (John 1:18)
