St. Paulinus of Nola
2 Corinthians 8:9-11. Luke 12:36-44

Open heart and mind to know the Father's will: pray for discernment and the power to do it. All will be given as it is required, all made perfect in the power of Our saving, sanctifying love. And it will be given you to give yourself increasingly as well as offering all you have and hold. Be single-minded and generous in all things, remembering how the Son of Man poured out His life for you. Take that life into the centre of your soul: let it work for your salvation and for your life in Me and the building of the Father's Kingdom where you are. The smallest offering is acceptable to the Father as it is offered in self-giving love. Above all, make your home in Me as I make Mine in you.
