Thessalonians 5:1-6, 9-16. Luke 4:31-37

Rest is good and necessary both for body and mind. It is a gift to be enjoyed and received with joy and with thanksgiving. And it prepares for further service of the Father and the Father's world.

But be always ready to receive the coming of the Father 's word within the soul. Let your response be immediate, and let nothing come between the hearing and the doing. It is the Father's will and loving purpose that you come to the fulfilment of your individual calling through obedience to what He calls you to become and do. Such involves faithfulness in your love and care for others according to His will and loving purpose.

Be ready at all times to be Our love in action to the Father's world.
