The First Martyrs of the Church of Rome
Romans 8:31-39. Matthew 24:1-3

All who are in Me and I in them have strength which is beyond all power in the world. It is the love which issues from the Father and in and through Me is poured out to all who seek and take it into heart and mind. And it unites all who receive it in bonds of joy and peace and strength as well with the Father. All so bonded are free citizens of the Father's Kingdom of eternal life, each with their individual and corporate work and witness to Eternal Love through the grace and power of Our Indwelling

Such work and witness may bring opposition, pain and sorrows as they follow in My steps, committed to the Father's will and loving purpose. Yet they rejoice even in their suffering for I have overcome the world through love, and My victory is their victory too.
