St. Eusebius of Vercelli, bishop
1 John 5:1-5. Matt. 5:1-12

Truth is one and undivided though there are many ways of knowing and of understanding it. The mind of man is fashioned by the Father for the identity and progress of the soul and for the soul's unique relationship and service to the Father and to the Father's world.

The single-minded and the true of heart find truth in their obedience and faithfulness , for it is planted in the soul from the beginning, waiting to be recognised. acknowledged, welcomed and responded to by Truth Himself. I am The Truth, the Life, the Way. I am in the Father, He in Me and I am the Father's Word Incarnate and Incarnate Love. So Truth is Father, Son and Holy Spirit : all sons of men are called to know and live in truth through the power and Presence of Our saving, sanctifying love within their souls.
