1 Peter 1:18-25. Mark 10:32-45

Be ready at all times to take up the yoke of suffering as it is offered you , either in yourself or for your friends and neighbours . Constantly recall the total offering of Myself to My loving, Heavenly Father in My human life. To do the Father 's will in love and total self-giving is deep, abiding joy, despite the pain and sorrow which sometimes it inevitably involves. Have I not shown the way? No man can ever know the depth of sadness, suffering and pain of man's redemption. But every son of man may enter in the fellowship of altruistic thought and action through the grace and power of My Indwelling and the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit.

Pray, contemplate, and meditate, as you are led and guided .
