Listen and look, look and listen: all wisdom comes through studying the given truth and meditating on the truth within which is revealed to all who pray and meditate. Let mind and heart be yoked to faithfulness in this: it is the secret of the soul's development and progress.

Maturity is given as obedience becomes the way of joyful following according to the Father's will and loving purpose.
