Wednesday, January 15th
In the morning, long before dawn Jesus got up and left the house,
and went off to a lonely place and prayed there
Mark 1:35

Our Holy Spirit, who gives rest to weary bodies and to tired minds in sleep, calls each of the Father's children to refresh the soul and to receive that which He would give to each and every one.

The loving Heavenly Father loved each child into existence and He gives to each the spark of life eternal. In order that the life may grow, increase and be a power within the soul there must be response at the heart's centre. Time and space are necessary for the soul to settle and to hear the sound of gentle stillness which is Our Presence. There, in the silence of eternity, We enter, cleanse, refresh, re-form and communicate Our Very Selves. Yet We are One, and seek to unify each child of man who gives himself to Our Indwelling and to Our loving purpose.

I am the soul's refreshment and its solace, its power for action in doing and becoming that which the Father wills and purposes.
