Luke 14:5-24

Let the Father's love for His beloved children and His yearning to bestow on them the joys and blessings of His Kingdom be seen and known by all. So many of His children are preoccupied with the minutiae of daily living that they fail to see the point and purpose of it all. Others seek to gather to themselves such glory, power or influence that they become weighed down with material rewards. It is a point of sadness to the Father that so few of His beloved children are committed to the great challenge and reward of the glorious destiny which He purposed for each and every one.

Life is the free gift from the loving Heavenly Father to each and every one of His beloved children. And as each grows into the fullness of His human nature he is invited to accept his spiritual identity and destiny as he responds to that challenge to integrity which he perceives within him. And as he falteringly responds so does he receive the means for further progress, and in the end perfection and fulfilment in the power of Our saving, sanctifying love.

So does he become Our saving, caring, tending love to others, and at the end of time he will rejoice with those whom We have reached through his response and faithfulness.
