The Lord has spoken, "I will make you a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."
Isaiah 40:6

The glory and the honour which I laid aside to bring salvation to the sons of men are bestowed upon Me through My approaching suffering and death. And it is the completion of My honouring of the Father in the world He created for joy and in obedience to His loving will and good purpose. So the Father is honoured through the triumph of My death over sin and in My identification with the suffering of His beloved people.

And this triumph is the light of all nations and the power of all the Father's children who claim the reward of My death and of My offering in love and self-giving.

I look, and the Father looks, for each and every one of the children of men to become My light in the world, Our power for salvation. For the light and the power are the enlightenment and the enabling joy of Our Very Presence.
